NEW DELHI: Dense fog in the early hours of Tuesday caused significant disruption to flight operations at the Chennai airport, leading to diversions of international flights to neighbouring cities, according to officials.
Between 6-7 am, international flights arriving from Muscat and Dubai were redirected to Tirupati and Hyderabad airports.
A few domestic flights also suffered minor delays, they added.
