The pan-India film ‘Baahubali‘ became a massive hit after its release making it one of the most successful film franchises in history, revolutionizing Indian cinema. Recently, the film’s producer, Shobu Yarlagadda, shared a concern after facing difficulties with his account on the chatting social media platform.
He took to social media to announce that his WhatsApp account had been hacked, causing significant concern for him and his contacts. In his post on X (formerly Twitter), Yarlagadda explained that the hacker gained control of his account and was using it to dupe people in his contact list. He expressed frustration over WhatsApp’s policy, which prevented him from logging back into his account for 12 hours due to multiple incorrect PIN entries.
His tweet reads, “My @WhatsApp account has been hacked. Hacker has control of my account. Whats More terrible is that @WhatsApp doesn’t let me log back in for 12 hours because it says I entered wrong pin multiple times. In the mean time the hacker has been duping more people on my contact and getting access to thier contacts and more and more accounts are getting compromised. There no way to reach @WhatsApp. This is crazy! Please do something about this @Meta @WhatsApp”
As of now, there have been no updates from Yarlagadda regarding the resolution of this issue, leaving many concerned about the potential fallout from the hack.
Earlier this year, filmmaker K.E. Gnanavel Raja confirmed that a third installment of the Baahubali series will be in the works. According to reports from Desimartini, discussions about ‘Baahubali 3‘ have begun, with the team brainstorming ideas for the much-anticipated sequel. Following the success of the first two films, which were released back-to-back within two years, the creators are taking their time to ensure that the next installment meets fans’ expectations.
