A woman in West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh, was left horrified after receiving a parcel containing a human body. The incident occurred in Yendagandi village when a woman named Naga Tulsi opened a package she had received from the Kshatriya Seva Samithi. According to a post shared on the social, media platform X (earlier Twitter), Tulsi had applied to the Samithi for financial assistance to build her house and had received tiles as part of the aid. She had recently been informed that she would receive electrical appliances, including lights, fans, and switches. After this, a person delivered a box to Tulsi’s doorstep, claiming it contained the promised appliances. Upon opening the package, she was shocked to discover the human remains along with an extortion note demanding Rs 1.3 crore.

The incident has sent shockwaves through the community. After discovering the contents of the package, the woman alerted her family and the police. Authorities are currently investigating the matter and have launched a manhunt for the culprits.
What local police said about the parcel incident
The body, believed to be that of a 45-year-old man, was shifted to a government hospital for autopsy. Police have registered a case and are investigating the incident. District Superintendent of Police Adnan Nayeem Asmi visited the village to oversee the investigation.
Authorities are working to identify the person who delivered the parcel and have summoned representatives of the Kshatriya Seva Samithi for questioning.
Police suspect the man may have died 4-5 days ago and are investigating the possibility of foul play. They are also verifying missing person complaints from nearby police stations.
